West Didsbury & Chorlton Football Club is a semi-professional team playing in the Manchester suburb of Chorlton. I was asked to design a shirt for their women’s team, sponsored by Piccadilly Records.

The club nickname is ‘West’ so I created a design that formed a ‘W’ across the chest, in rainbow colours to reflect the clubs socially progressive values and also as a nod to the Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon, a firm favourite in the bohemian suburb where the team plays.
